Damn, this is such a bad film. I watched it on the strenght of Anvari's previous Under the Shadow but lightning didn't strike twice. He actually succeeds in building an interesting cast of well developed characters, but when you compare what the premise has to offer (Gnostic cult picks up victims through a J-Horror cell phone magical gimmick) versus what's actually there on the screen, it's downright embarassing.
