Man, talk about timely. And Takei himself was in one of these concentration camps as a kid.

Whoa. Talk about taking it in a completely different direction. I'm in.

This is is *much* more genre-y than the first, and also clearly written for the screen rather than very richly adapted from a book. Still enjoy it though, and man that scene of "You're a citizen, boy. You were born here. Show them you're a patriot. Fight for your country." is some reverberated-through-time gut punch.

I think I'm going to let this air and then binge them all the way through.
