Disney Branded Television has ordered Primos, an original animated comedy series created and executive produced by Natasha Kline (director on Big City Greens, South Park). I'm not the biggest fan of anime and Summer Wars is the most anime movie I've ever seen. The protagonist is an awkward nerd who's tongue tied around the popular girl, the silent loner has a badass wolf persona, schoolchildren save the world from nuclear winter by playing card games, etc. If you have a higher tolerance for that kind of stuff you might enjoy it, but I was irritated the whole way through.

Synopsis. Haven't actually read it yet but I am already there day one.

Suzume, a 17-year-old girl living in a quiet town in Kyushu, meets a young traveler who says, "I'm looking for a door." Suzume follows him to an abandoned house in the mountains. What she finds in the ruins in the mountains is an old door, standing alone, as if it is the only place left behind from the collapse.

As if drawn by something, Suzume reaches for the door, but... Soon, doors begin to open one after another all over Japan. The doors that were opened must be closed, for evil will come from the other side.

The stars, the setting sun, the morning sky. In the place where she wandered, there was a sky where all time seemed to have melted together. Guided by the mysterious door, Suzume's "journey of shutting the door" begins.
