I haven't seen it in quite a while, so I can't recall much of anything, but I remember feeling that the whole thing was just silly, especially after Leo loses it.

To answer Benny about The Beach, it's just a mess. A mess that had potential 5-6 times throughout the movie too, which is a huge shame. By the end, once DiCaprio's character goes crazy, I just wanted it to end. I gave up on it.

IMO the most overrated active director. Not only is he an inept filmmaker, but he keeps picking the shittiest scripts to work with. I'll give him one thing: his movies have consistently good music (except his latest one, which was largely an embarrassing nostalgia trip over the only good movie he's made).
