To commemorate 22 films in the MCU, and the culmination of everything we've seen for 11 years, the following 22 scenes are my favorite parts of the MCU. I was going to make a game out of this but felt there would be little participation so I'm just going to list them. With a couple of HMs.
Feel free to post your own faves.
HM1: “I don’t want to go” - Avengers Infinity War
HM2: Thor Meets Strange - Thor Ragnarok
HM3: "He may have been your father boy, but he wasn't your daddy" - Guardians of the Galaxy vol2
22: Tony Stark in front of Congress - Iron Man 2
21: Meet Hela Thor Ragnarok
20: "Earth is closed today!" Avengers: Infinity War

Honorable Mention: “I don’t want to go”
Movie: Avengers: Infinity War
Summary: Spider-man is sensing his dissolve, and is breaking down in front of his mentor Tony Stark
Why I’m mentioning it: Some may laugh when I say this was emotional, but to me it was. It was an improvised scene by Tom Holland and I if the movie didn't have a longer death scene like this, the snap would have felt a lot more muted, with people just disappearing. The relationship between the two characters over three films was enough to put merit in this reaction, which leaves Tony dumbfounded. Then the film just ends with our hero standing there, with a final line from Cap, "Oh God".

Honorable Mention: Thor Meets Strange
Movie: Thor Ragnarok
Summary: Searching for his father, Thor discovers Earth has wizards now.
Why I’m mentioning it: Good comedic scene between Thor and Strange (and Loki); but more importantly I just love it when these characters meet each other for the first time. The interaction between their personalities is great. Plus it sets up a purpose for the long time period where we don't see Strange; he's established that his powers has grown from his origin movie and that he's got a list of beings he monitors as a threat to Earth.

Honorable Mention: "He may have been your father boy, but he wasn't your daddy"
Movie: Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2
Summary: Yondu saving Quill from an imploding living planet.
Why I’m mentioning it: Another emotional scene where Marvel proves they are not above killing off likable characters (and avoiding the previous fake-outs e.g. Loki (Twice), Fury, Coulson, Pepper, Groot, J.A.R.V.I.S.) . The quicksilver death was a poor attempt to do this, but he hadn't nearly been around on screen enough for this to matter. Not shown, is an equally great scene where the Ravager ships pay tribute to Yondu.

Off the top of my head my #1 probably would be Killmonger's Sunset ("Bury me in the ocean..."), then 2-4 Civil War ones sprinkled throughout top 10. Beyond that I'll have to really think about it.

# 22. Tony Stark in front of Congress
Movie: Iron Man 2
Summary: Tony Stark Subpoenaed to hand over his "weapon" to the US Government.
Why I’m mentioning it: This scene servers a bunch of different purposes; Introduction of Don Cheadle as Rhodey, Introduction of Hammer Industries and Justin Hammer, the repercussions of the Iron Man 1 ending, but mainly a hilarous back and forth Stark has with the U.S. Government, while calling out N. Korea, Iran and Hammer Industries. Side note, Senator Stern was created and named after Howard Stern since Jon Favreau was a big fan.

# 21. Meet Hela
Movie: Thor Ragnarok
Summary: Hela returns from the prison she was kept in by Odin
Why I’m mentioning it: I love Cate Blanchett's presence in this scene, her confidence, her knowledge that Thor clearly doesn't possess, and just her overall design here- I think she looks smokin' hot. She's definitely top 5 my favorite villains in the MCU. The destruction of Mjolnir is also a sight and really puts dread in the eyes of Thor; who at this point, relies on his weapon to control his power.

# 20. Earth is closed today!
Movie: Avengers: Infinity War
Summary: The Black Order arrives on Earth for the Time Stone but the Earth bound Avengers have something to say about that.
Why I’m mentioning it: I love the build here; it's reminiscent of Independence Day. The scenes that preceded it alluded to the worst- and the worst arrived just as Banner said. I love the introduction of Stark's nano suit. I love the introduction to Spider-man's spidey sense and showing up "What's this guy's problem Mr. Stark?" Tom Vaughan-Lawlor is by far the standout in the Black Order as Maw. The responses from Stark is pure Stark; "No time for a thing, that's a thing right there?" "Dude you're embarrassing me in front of the wizards"

# 19. Stairway Fight
Movie: Captain America: Civil War
Summary: Cap meets up with Bucky, and both need to fight off a wave of soldiers.
Why I’m mentioning it: I think the Russos are really good at directing action and this is one of the few scenes on this list that is purely here for action eye candy and choreography.

# 18. Highway Fight & Cap vs Winter Soldier
Movie: Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Summary: Cap, Nat and Sam just got some intel from Sitwell and are attacked by the Winter Solider.
Why I’m mentioning it: 2nd scene strictly for action- Imagine Captain America turned bad? What kind of havoc could he cause? The answer is this scene with the Winter Solider's surprise attack. I love the jumpscare here and just the unrelenting attack on our heros.

# 17. Meet Vision
Movie: Avengers Age of Ultron
Summary: Banner and Stark are working to put Jarvis into the bio-organic-vibranium-thing, when Cap, Pietro and Wanda try to stop them, until Thor puts an end to it.
Why I’m mentioning it: A lot of the time the introduction of characters is epic, and I dont think this is any exception. The way vision emerges from the cradle, the confusion with the Avengers; first hostile then docile, and THAT music that plays when Vision floats to the windows and sees his own reflection gets me every time. It's also the first time the Infinity Stones are mentioned to the group. The scene is also odd in the sense no one asks what to call the new Jarvis-android. Thor merely says "I had a Vision" and from that moment forward they just call him "Vision". The scene ends on a great callback to an earlier joke surrounding Mjolnir. It's perfect Whedon.

# 16. "Every time someone tries to win a war before it starts innocent people die... every time"
Movie: Avengers Age of Ultron
Summary: In hiding, the team is recovering from a big loss against Ultron.
Why I’m mentioning it: This isn't the first time Stark and Rogers have gone up against each other, but it's certainly starting to feel like there's a lot more tension between the two. it's the perfect dialog exchange as a prelude to Civil War. Again, perfect Whedon right here.

# 15. "It’s a hoot that you don’t get why you need this"
Movie: Avengers Age of Ultron
Summary: The team is just learning what Stark created using Loki's scepter.
Why I’m mentioning it: In retrospect, this is more foreshadowing of End Game than it is Civil War, but again, I think the strongest parts of Ultron and the first Avengers is the interaction between the team. And this really showcases the knee-jerk reaction after defeating Ultron for the first time. Later, Tony points to the sky and says "that's the end game...how were you guys planning on defeating that?"
Cap: "together."
Stark: "We'll lose.
Cap: "Then we'll do that together too"

# 14. Avengers "Assemble" for the first time
Movie: The Avengers
Summary: Finally, all in the same room- Banner, Cap, Nat, Thor, Iron Man, Fury
Why I’m mentioning it: Where to start- Loki is on board the heli-carrier and we really learn what he's been up to; "He killed 80 people in 2 days" "He's adopted". We finally have the big six in the same room together. Iron Man makes the perfect entrance... "No hard feelings Point Break you have a mean swing".... "Raise the mizzenmast! Jib the topsails!" And all that jargon is just to distract from when he plants his bug to crack into S.H.I.E.L.D.. (which btw, Tony later says he'll learn every dirty secret SHIELD has ever had... except for the one where Hydra has infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D.) And ending on the Galaga joke. Perfect Whedon.

# 12. Meet Steve Rogers
Movie: Captain America: The First Avenger
Summary: Howard Stark and Dr Abraham Erskine successfully apply Stark's super soldier formula to Steve Rogers.
Why I’m mentioning it: Not only is this our first look at Captain America, we immediately get to see him in action as he chases down a Hydra agent. Also, apparently, the scene where Hayley Atwell appears to reach out and touch Chris Evan's chest was a natural reaction to seeing him with his shirt off.

# 10. Thor vs Hulk x2
Movie: The Avengers and Thor Ragnarok
Summary: Thor and Hulk have some history.
Why I’m mentioning it: The first fight is great because we see the Ruffalo hulk for the first time, and later learn that he transformed into the Hulk on purpose. The second is more humorous, and is a wonderful homage to Planet Hulk, Silver Surfer vs Hulk and Beta Ray Bill vs Hulk, but instead we have the perspective of Thor instead of Hulk.

Yeah, I think the Capt America movies definitely win me over the most.
This is picky, and certainly not a reason I don't care for the movies, but after watching a few of these scenes, I wish any of the guys would at least get cut from the exploding glass, or damage when they are rolling on the roads after being thrown thirty feet.
And both in comic books and in movies, who the hell would choose to live in NYC? number8 could probably lead me to a comic book, but I feel like there would be a mass exodus to other cities for normal citizens after, say, the second attack.

Haha, great point. Hell, you'd have to be nuts to stay in NY after Avengers 1.

I guess I get this point, but in the context of a Marvel movie? :)
Maybe I'm remembering it wrong, but the movies posit more or the idea that good has to stand up to evil, and if there were a mass exodus it would seem as if good had failed. Perhaps that extends to the regular folks of New York city. This is their city, and moving would be like admitting defeat. The line "Earth is closed", spoken by Stark, seems to speak for all citizens. This is our world, and we're not going anywhere.
Or maybe the citizens of NY felt that with The Avengers on their side, things would be ok sooner or later.
I'm probably reaching and certainly not explaining myself very well. :D

#9. What is Phase 2?
Movie: The Avengers
Summary: Iron Man makes his personality and presence known with the team
Why I’m mentioning it: Pure Whedon dialog here. We have the personalities of each team member arguing, which is playing right into the hands of Loki. We also get a focus on the scepter, which we later understand houses the Mind Stone, which is why Loki was successful in getting the team to fight with each other. The stone's influence had a huge impact on the team dynamic. But the dialog here is just perfect. It's later followed up with, "Put on the suit, what are you?" "Billionaire, playboy, philanthropist..."

Why I’m mentioning it: The fight has everything. Decent action, humor "doth mother know you weareth her drapes?", and conclusion. Showcases the powers of the three Avengers and an understanding they need to all work together. Also really enjoy "power at 400% capacity"..."how bout that?"

#7. I had a date
Movie: Captain America: The First Avengers
Summary: The final line in the movie.
Why I’m mentioning it: We talk about the lack of emotional scene sin the MCU a lot; these next few are the ones that attempt to, and succeed (IMO) at tugging on those heart strings. I think the delivery here is perfect. And the quick cut to black with the score works really well.

#6. What is and always will be my Greatest Creation...
Movie: Iron Man 2
Summary: Tony connecting with Howard
Why I’m mentioning it: It's clear Tony did not have a good relationship with his father, but this moment where he finds a message from his father is great. I'm a sucker for father son films as it is, but this line gets me good. I also like the build; Tony is on his phone, reading through notes, not really expecting to find anything of value, the personal message comes into play, which was enough for Tony to realize the plans for the new element.

#5. Iron Man vs Hulk
Movie: Avengers: Age of Ultron
Summary: Hulkbuster vs Hulk
Why I’m mentioning it: When I watched this scene play out, I was hoping that it would lead into Planet Hulk; that it would be the catalyst where people on Earth realized Hulk was way too dangerous to stay on Earth... and I was half right. The only difference really is we didn't get a full fledged Planet Hulk film and that Hulk left on his own volition. Part of the fun with the Planet Hulk story is Hulk returns to Earth in a fit of rage and revenge. Nevertheless, this is a great action sequence, with humor (thanks to Whedon).

#4. ...so was I
Movie: Captain America: Civil War
Summary: Iron Man vs Captain America
Why I’m mentioning it: Seems like Iron Man fights a lot of his own allies on this list... but this is a great line from Tony (gives me chills) and is also the start of the fall of the Avengers. Today, released the final trailer for Endgame. And in that trailer we see Tony and Cap shaking hands, meeting each other possibly for the first time since this scene in Civil War. (which was 3 years ago- real time).
One thing to note, I feel like RDJ's delivery of this line is much better in the Civil War trailer. (2:07 mark in the trailer)- Just for yourself.

#3. I'm Always Angry
Movie: the Avengers
Summary: The Hulk
Why I’m mentioning it: I clearly remember the cheers in my showing after this scene, the crowd was really looking forward to was the Bruce Banner transformation. Follow that scene up with the famous 360 degree shot and you have yourself a perfect Avengers Assemble. Hulk may have stolen the show as later in the film we have the "Puny God" scene (voice by Lou Ferrigno) and Hulk yelling to wake up Stark.

#2. Cap vs Everyone
Movie: Captain America: The Winter Solder
Summary: Cap is being confronted by SHIELD agents as suspected to be involved with Fury's Assassination.
Why I’m mentioning it: This was Captain America's coming out party. The introduction to this film defines Cap's abilities much better than both the First Avenger and the Avengers. There are a couple additional scenes with Cap in this film I love; "Tell them I'm In pursuit" followed by a quick guitar riff.

BRING IT. #1 BE CAP
One thing to note, I feel like RDJ's delivery of this line is much better in the Civil War trailer. (2:07 mark in the trailer)- Just for yourself.
I love the misdirection between the trailer and the actual film for this scene, and I feel both don't work if swapped. That trailer is pretty great, building its forlorn tone to its peak, and it won't work if they use the film one instead of RDJ's hurt line reading. At the same time, in the film at that point Stark is consumed with pure destructive rage, and it won't make sense if they suddenly use the trailer's surprised and hurt line reading instead of his angry ice-cold reminder.

-Black Panther's test of different suits is like James Bond and Q
-Killmonger's first appearance in the museum.
-Killmonger Vs. T'Challa - feels like the most stakes on the line here than I've seen in any of the other marvel movies.
-Captain AMerica: First Avenger as he signs up for the program... Really enjoyed his origin more than any of the others.
-Guardians of the Galaxy escaping prison.
-Mark I Iron Man. Not quite too special. Plenty of flaws. Still fun to watch. A bit before Downey got too over the top.
-Yondu and Rocket Raccoon escape in GotG 2.

#1. Lifting Mjolnir
Movie: Avengers: Age of Ultron
Summary: The team tries to lift Mjolnir
Why I’m mentioning it: Despite the internet rage about Stark wanting to re institute "Prima Nocta", or as the internet would call, a "rape joke", I just love the interaction with the team here. Especially when Cap moves the hammer a little, which makes Thor nervious. This joke is also bookended later in the film when Vision lifts Mjolnir. I'm really glad this party scene was as long as it is showing the informal interactions of the group together, as well as the inclusion of the Stan Lee "excelsior" line.

Watching some rando youtube popup...I wouldn't count it as a "scene", but in Winter Soldier when the camera follows Bucky as he leaps out the apartment building...that's one of my favorite shots in the MCU. It amazes me on a technical level, it's super badass as it goes from tight confined space to wide open almost flying, and every time it almost makes me throw up. Brilliant.

Looking through this thread again, I feel you’ll probably update this list again for sure after Endgame.
Honestly... after a couple of re-watches. I'm not really sure there's a standout scene in Endgame that would make this list. Possibly Cap lifting Mjolnir and Thor proclaiming "I knew it!" or the Asguaridnas of the Galaxy banter... but Endgame has dropped a few ranks since my initial viewing. It's tedious to get through.

I prefer IW over Endgame. The Cap lifting Thor's Hammer part was really cool. My favorite part however might be Ant-Man looking out and seeing all the life returning and smiling, just before Thanos' spaceship blows everything to hell. It is really quite bittersweet and shocking all in one swoop.
I didn't spoiler the hammer thing because it's been used in the trailers a million times now.
