Now this is the type of film that's made for cinema lovers. With varying degrees of success, Ruizpalacios has staged every scene of this unusual heist film in a dazzling, surprising fashion. Museum might feel overcrowded with visual tricks and cinematic jokes but at least it's never boring and the story doesn't lag behind the style - Gael GarcÃ*a Bernal gives his character, an uncommon protagonist, the dimension of a real human being. I only wish this had received the same kind of international recognition as Cuarón's Roma since it's so much more deserving.
