This was great.

Much better than either of the extremely overrated The Raid movies.

I still think the Raid films are better crafted. This one has a really sloppy narrative, and the middle section is a poorly edited, poorly paced slog. The way the action in the apartment is cut up is nonsensical. The last thirty minutes are dynamite, though. I still enjoyed it overall, voted yay, and I think Timo is going to make something really good very soon.

I side with Puft here. The fights are incredible but the pacing and editing are all over the place. There are also many plot holes and actions by the characters that are way too dumb, although it's been a while since I saw the Raid films so I can't really compare them, I might have been more lenient at that moment.

Anyway, I was there for the fights and they were a sight to see.

EDIT: Apparently they off shore the sound editing for these things to Argentina and I know a guy who works in the foley. I'm gonna ask him if he did this one.
