Chow Yun-fat fans will probably have a decent time with this, since there are a lot of nods and winks to Chow's prior personas/roles. It's entertaining as long as he is onscreen. Otherwise, it's a drag, cliché and derivative and stylistically haphazard. It's sloppily constructed and simultaneously think it's really clever while shamelessly ripping off the aforementioned 90's thriller. Weird movie. At least three different movies struggling for supremacy in this thing, like a cinematic Thunderdome for mediocre Hong Kong actioners.
