So this is pretty good. I just rewatched all the movies and the lore in this universe is so vast, I hope they eventually get to some John Clark and Chavez stuff.

Always makes me wonder when watching stuff like this, are superiors in government roles THAT big of assholes? Or is that all TV BS?

So I thought this was excellent. The only thing distracting from the main story was the brief tie-in with the drone operator. It really didn't lead anywhere we didn't already expect or already know, so it didn't add much to the main story. But that final episode was pretty great. Wish there was at least 1 or two more episodes to string out the terror.

Finished up eps 1-6. Can't say it's refreshingly different from other shows, but it does what it does with quality, genuine thrills and conviction. That it's Jack Ryan is a bit of an icing on the cake as I'm eager to see what other stuff they come up with down the line.

And I just now learned this is not this show, but a series of new movies based on 'Rainbow Six' and 'Without Remorse'.

Yeah, it fizzles out a might, the story about how Suleimain knew the Americans were going to storm his compound goes nowhere, nor does the videogame which the siblings were using to communicate as I had the feeling that tied in to my first complaint..

Nevertheless, I'm totally up for more Jack Ryan.

Wendell Pierce is hilarious.
