Oy! Fantastic in Pickup on South Street. Honestly, I thought he was already gone.

Honestly, I would have also assumed he was already dead but I watched a lot of his films late last year and happened to check him IMDB page. Not many actors from his era are still around. I actually haven't seen Pickup yet, I might try and watch it tonight.

Damn, this guy had a lot of great roles.

Panic in the Streets
Night and the City
Judgment at Nuremberg
Murder on the Orient Express

Damn classic cinema stars and their posthumous deaths!

If only they'd physically die as soon as they faded from public consciousness we wouldn't have to deal with this.

They're dying like fucking rabbits! Guess I phrased that the other way around.

That's too bad, he was a wonderful actor. At 90-something, though, he sure had a helluva life.

Damn it.

I guess Kirk Douglas is next.

Wow, he's 92!

Sorry to hear that Widmark died. There are not many left. Farley Granger is still around.

Jennifer Jones is still alive!

Wow, I would NEVER have guessed Jennifer Jones was alive... her life was insane. Joan Fontaine and Olivia de Havilland are also living, good genes.

I actually found out he passed away when TCM showed a tribute to him inbetween movie showings. Twilight of the idols indeed. RIP.
