I'll be purposely vague with my thoughts until more people have seen this. But this is one to watch out for.
It's kind of like Eric Rohmer and Yorgos Lanthimos collaborated on a film after watching Spring Breakers.
It's a delight to watch a film by a talented director you've never experienced before. You have little idea about what their agenda might be. If I watch a Haneke film, for example, I might be fully engaged, but I still have a basic understanding of his philosophy and his world view. This one took me by surprise.
Basically it's alternately beautiful and ugly and a very accurate picture of the gulf between two people in very different parts of their life with very different needs and desires.

Getting a pretty strong Stranger by the Lake vibe.
EDIT: Never mind--the trailer makes it look more like Noe's Spring Breakers. Regardless, I'm intrigued.
