Okay, these Divergent movies may have had a rough start with the first one, but they've really come around since then. I thought this movie was a blast. And, unlike pretty much every other YA adaptation where the last book is split into two movies, this one actually comes to a natural and satisfying ending, as opposed to the more typical clunky and anti-climactic lead in to the second half. This actually feels like a full movie, and not just "Part 1", which I can especially appreciate.

My only anecdotal input on this is the fact that I got tickets for a screening of this with my sister, who took of our aunt and two of our cousins (both about pre-teen age), all fans of the first two, and none of them seemed to be particularly enthused when I saw them after it. More sighs than words. The youngest liked it the most (i.e. at all)..

Otherwise my closest relationship to these movies is seeing the cast lists and always going, "they're in this too!!?!?"
