I saw it in theatres, so I'm making a thread for it. Fight me.

I forgot to post a reaction. So...

I enjoyed it, but it's not as good as earlier episodes. I was really digging having this cast/crew turn in a Victorian era episode, and I love when Holmes does horror, and I would have been wonderfully content if this was just a one off special and nothing more. I rolled my eyes when it turned out to be a real deal episode, and Moriarty appeared again, and I'm like why come on. That being said, I didn't mind the way they tied it together, and if we're going with Moriarty being dead then I'll allow it and see where they go with series four. But the usual criticisms thus apply, i.e. Moriarty is given too much prominence in this series (and Holmes adaptations in general), it spends too much time pandering, and threatens to disappear up its own ass.

But, ultimately, I really do love the cast here and pretty much adore every second we get to spend with them. Martin Freeman is a national treasure.
