I'm befuddled why this does not have a thread so there it is.

No, I haven't seen this, but I will. It sounds like a live action Castle Wolfenstein. Reviews have been great for season 1.

How does this not have a thread? :D

It sounds like a live action Castle Wolfenstein.

It's based on a alt-history novel by Philip K Dick and it will likely fuck with your head. It is not anything like a live action Wolfenstein. :D

Oh, I saw the trailer and know it isn't, but for some reason it evokes something about Wolfenstein reading the premise.

Wish this show was better.

Just started this. Enjoying it. WILDLY different than the book, but that's OK. The book was never one of my favorites from Dick, and a faithful adaptation wouldn't make for an exciting television show.

Well, now that I have actually begun to watch this, more than a year after I started this thread, I will say that season 1 is wonderful stuff so far. Some dumb things happened in episode 3 with the Burn Gorman bounty hunter character, but goddamn what a premise! And the execution and production values totally sell the illusion of an America conquered by the Nazis and the Japanese.

And I maintain what I said earlier, that I detect faint traces of Wolfenstein and even Fallout in this.

English actor Rufus Sewell makes a great bad guy.

Into season 4 right now. Its last season, and it looks like it's going out on a huge high. Love the stuff with John Smith. Production values are fantastic.

Good stuff.
