No thread for this either?

There's nothing quite extraordinary about this exploitation flick except the fact that Keanu Reeves is the worst actor alive that you can't help but like. It's well directed and has plenty of morbid, depraved humor. I haven't seen Green Inferno yet, but I've liked everything Roth has directed to some degree.

Horror fans or fans of Roth might appreciate this, as the first 40 minutes generate some real suspense, and the black comedy touches sometimes work so well they achieve a sort of dumb brilliance - the "free pizza" line and the Facebook like will stick in my head for a while. The back half is just repetitive, though, failing to accumulate and failing to sell itself as a dark morality tale instead of the sick joke it really is. Like "Unfriended," it's better than I expected but never as good as I hoped.

Totally appeals to my love of girls gone gleefully bad movies. And I'm not convinced that Mr. Reeves is bad here. Over the top, yes, but hilariously so.
