Anyone want a thread for this? Not the same as avatar thread. Just a place where anyone can throw something together either for the sake of "art" or the sake of "humor."

Taking a moment to pimp myself, here. Not for rep. . . . Okay, not specifically for rep, but I created some ideas for possible future banners in the Maintenance forum.

But anyway, to kick-start this thread I give you:

From...
http://media.movieweb.com/galleries/2475/1809/lo/saw_05.jpg

To...
http://aycu05.webshots.com/image/44364/2001628163982123739_rs.jpg

~~~
And From...
To "AWW HELL NAH!"...
Yeah, I know. I know.
Okay, floor is yours!
I'm pretty sure everyone knows what this one is from. Just something simple to try and keep the ball rolling:
I know I should be seeing something, but what? A clue please...
Here is one I did for a Fark photoshop challenge. I've always liked it:
I've been a Farker for close to a decade, since 2000.
I've spent more time there than at any other website.
This is the greatest Photoshop hoax of all time...
That it actually fooled staff at colleges is simply awesome.
Here's one a friend of mine did with the two of us. If anyone remembers Orca, he's the one in the Memphis shirt. I'm in the Nike shirt.
Nice job guys.
Back at RT there used to be a thread where we'd make fake Criterion covers. I wish I still had my covers saved. :(
Yes - some of those were awesome, and many of them were better than the actual DVD covers.
At first I just couldn't see it. It was that good. Then I thought the soldier on the far right front row looked a little too fuzzy to be real.
Then I saw Batman.
RT? icine? I don't go to those places, so I'd love to see whatever you've got here.
I actually did a bunch of Criterion covers back in the day on another forum. I'll have to see if I can dig those up.
"Like being fucked in the ass!" is the best critique of a movie ever.
I don't know whether it's positive or negative, but I do know that the movie had quite an effect on the reviewer...kinda like being fucked in the ass.
That was back when we had to actually search, hard, for this stuff. Like on IRC and Usenet.
Oh hell yeah. When we first got high speed, Comcast Roadrunner days, we used to have parties where we would all get drunk, sit in front of the computer, and just try to find and download the sickest, funniest shit we could find.
It was awesome.
Remember Scour?
Man, scouring IRC was like looking through the Matrix.
I haven't photoshopped anything in a long while, but here's one of the classics. It's Sitting Bull versus me. I hope this doesn't piss anyone off like a few Danish drawings have lately. :P
Man, scouring IRC was like looking through the Matrix.I remember trying to download some Darkwing Duck episodes off IRC. P2P on IRC was insane, especially on dial-up.
However, when you actually succeeded in downloading video, it was rewarding because--goddammit--you worked for it.
