Gave it a shot after hearing wonders about this one (and The Secret of Kells, which I've not seen yet) and did not disappoint. Gorgeous, tremendously gorgeous animation, great atmosphere and a vibe that reminded me of Miyazaki with the usually calm and meditative tone, several dialogue-free scenes and a tale with no real villains. I really liked that, while this story, so full of magic, fairies and all, focused more on the relationship the kid Ben has with his Saoirse and the mixture of jealousy and grief (specially the grief) he shows to her and how he starts to change and, well, move on.

So yeah, this movie was adorable.
And I want a Cu.

We saw this on a wall projection with a bunch of friends. Boys and girls alike were sobbing by the end.
