Huh, well then, I didn't think it looked any good at all, but after finally releasing having seen the trailer for the past 3 or so years, I went and saw this out of sheer curiosity. And I gotta say, it was actually a pretty damn fun flick, surprisingly enough. Nothing groundbreaking or anything, but still, pretty enjoyable stuff all around.

Were we talking about this movie last year? I remember seeing the trailer somewhere and then it got delayed for 3D or something?

It was caught up in Legendary's breakup with Warners. Warners didn't want to distribute it and Legendary had to wait until they had a new deal with Universal. I think Legendary shouldered most of the production costs for it so they got to take the movie with them when they switched studios.

Well I didn't think it was terrible or good. The dialogue's wack across the board, but Bridges and Moore really do the best they can with the material. Am I alone in finding Moore kind of sexy here? The actor playing the titular character is totally wooden though. Visually the movie lacks any definable style.
