Now this is the definition of good ol' jap fun. Although I initially found myself a bit put off by the idea of an entire movie being rapped by the characters to the audience the boldness of Sion's direction is just an inmediate hook. There's a little bit of everything for everybody in the film, but most notably there are intrincate and fairly hilarious fight sequences that seem to go on and on and sadistic bits of dark comedy. It's like The Warriors on drugs.
