Hader and Wiig are really good in this and make it kind of moving, but it's kind of a facile look at the subject matter. Doesn't help that I saw the Dardenne Brothers' Two Days' One Night the month previous, which is easily the most insightful film about depression I've seen.

I wanted to see it just because it's the Dardennes, but now I must see it.

Bill Hader gives one of if not the best performance of the year. The movie blows, though.

I liked Hader and Wiig a lot, but yeah.

I feel like Wiig brought a lot more comedy than what was intended for her character, which was a good thing. I hope she keeps getting roles.

I enjoyed it for the performances, and I thought the filmmakers successfully established a whimsical charm without emphasizing the whimsy. As exploration of the topic, it's not the most substantive thing you'll find, but an affecting and engrossing experience nonetheless.
