Well, outside of an ending that was quite frankly really stupid and didn't make a lick of sense, I otherwise thought that this was actually pretty damn good.
I'm hearing pretty good things about it, considering that the book was so bad I couldn't finish it.

Was this another one of those YA novel sensations?
I've seen a couple of trailers and there was no childish, longing romance, so I wasn't sure.
Yeah, this is another YA movie. Just happens to be one with absolutely no romance involved for once.

There's a lot of things that didn't make much sense but I agree. One of the better ya adaptations.

Looks pretty good. First one was passable. A few too many dystopian YA cliches, but the cast was likable and it was shot well. The action was pretty strong. This one seems like that but bigger.

So the first one had 5 minutes and the second has 10. They are really pushing the envelop.
