Looking for your rec on film criticism, history, cinema studies, production process etc.

Recently enjoyed Martin Scorsese's Personal Journey and Mark Cousins' Story of Film.

Any others I should check out?

You might've already seen this, as it was included in the box set DVD, but Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures is both revealing and hilarious. The anecdote about Kubrick measuring how much milk a cat gets on the average lick is classic.

Maybe not what you're looking for but I found all the "making of" documentaries on the LOTR Extended Editions very enlightening on the production process.
