cool. I still think this is one of the hardest years to predict several categories.

I'm feeling abnormally confident in my predictions here.

This is the toughest year in a while. Oscar night and this contest are pretty much the high point of my year, so hopefully we get a lot of people participating. :pritch:

I still predict No Country For Old Men will clean up.
But I have to admit a lot of my choices were complete guesses, since I haven't seen any of the shorts, any of the docs, and several of last year's big releases which are nominated.

I'll predict that Atonement wins the most awards, but does not win Best Picture (that's obvious).

I signed up. If I somehow managed to win any prize, it would be sent to the lucky residents of 32 Halifax Street, Halifax.

I have a bad feeling that Juno will win Best Picture. But that's just me.
EDIT: Oh I joined and submitted my ballot already.

Same here.
If you're a betting man, it's got 15/1 odds right now. That's a good payout.
Daniel Day-Lewis and Bardem have 1/10 odds. Heh.

Hmm, I'm a bit more optimistic than that, but if Juno does indeed win, I'll lose the little respect I had for the awards ceremony and probably consider it as useless as the Grammys.

I joined, even though I don't have any idea who will win and stuff. I just voted and most of them were guesses. And not even educated ones at that. This will be the opposite of last year's voting where I had actually seen some of the nominees and I had an idea of what was going down.

I somehow finished in double digits. Yikes that was ugly. But still I'm doing it again next year.
PS: I went .500 in the "major" categories. It was the little ones that did me in.
PS: Barty how did you lose to amber? By one point man. One point.

Our pool finished in second place by two points. Damn.

Damn, there were four categories I could've won if I updated. Oh well.
