I seem to recall some of you casually/professionally taking photos (http://matchcut.org/viewtopic.php?t=8794) --let's post them here, so I don't look like an ass being the only one. :) I'm working with an old-school film camera that's starting to butcher half my roll, but I try anyway. One day the Canon Digital Rebel will be mine... Here's a few to get the ball rolling.

Comments/critiques/tips more than welcome.

That's pretty awesome, Cultie. You should really get into the digital realm, as your post-processing skills would work wonders on a more... substantial photographic base. Have you thought about used Rebels? One can find a Rebel XT for peanuts these days, and it's a fantastic performer.

Here are some of my recent photos for starters:

Yay, a reply! I do check local ads for a used one, but if you know of a (Canada-shipping-friendly) site that has good deals, let me know. Those shots are great--I especially like the third. What camera do you use?

I'm using a Canon 30D and these lenses:

- Sigma 10-20
- Canon EF-S 18-55 IS
- Canon EF 50/1.8 II
- Sigma 70-300 APO

BTW, these guys are about as reliable as it gets... look through their offers:

No one else? There's more of you that have written a screenplay or shot a short film than have taken a few pictures? It doesn't have to be professional (mine sure aren't), just show some of your stuff!

I just got a new laptop and haven't transferred my photos over. Otherwise I'd post a few. Yours are great though. Dig the washed out look.

Lovely shots, Antoine. I like that you did something more original with the Eiffel tower, rather than just a straight-on shot. Are they all Paris?

Thank you, and I hope you do post some when you get it sorted out!

All but the first three (the first is New York; the the second and third are St. Paul, Minnesota).

Thanks. :) It was a rather weak walk photography-wise, those three are pretty much it.

I posted a few of these in a previous incarnation of this forum, but here is the creme de la creme of my brief photography career.
