I'm going to go with Nay. The story told here takes place in two different timelines - in the current one, an embittered old woman picks up a girl who is escaping from a criminal ring of forced prostitution and sex slavery. In the one told through flashbacks, the woman as a young lady pretends to be a good communist to ensure the survival of her sister and her sister's husband, whom she's secretly in love with.

There's plenty to like in this film, along with some of the harshest, most devastating scenes in recent memory, but the way Jokinen (who also directed the recent Hammer Films production The Resident) directs his story is like he's constantly pointing at stuff and saying DRAMA. CRY. HORRIBLE. It wears out and becomes unintentionally funny after a while. The plot also relies on a huge coincidence that, although good for dramatic purposes, in my opinion asks way too much of the audience.
