Dan Mazer is the writer for Da Ali G show, Borat and Bruno and it really shows in this movie. The overall story isn't all that great but the gags and jokes are incredibly funny. I couldn't stop laughing through out the whole film, so as such I didn't really care that the story isn't great because it's a very funny movie.
