First episode was charming and funny. Feels distinctly Christopher Guest, despite his style being co-opted through The Office into a whole television genre. Enjoyed seeing Michael McKean be funny in something again.

Yeah, it's weird seeing a Guest mockumentary after the style has dominated TV for 10 years. I did notice early on there is no attempt made at versimilitude. For the opening scene in the car to be edited the way it is there would have to be invisible cameras. I can't remember if that was the case with his earlier films or not. Nonetheless, charming is the right word for it. I can't wait for more.

His getting shocked by his shoe apparatus was the episode's biggest laugh.

This show's ok. If the Guest regulars keep making guest (no pun intended) appearances it will hold my interest just to see who might pop up.
