If this thread already existed I offer my apologies. Couldn't find it.
This is a decent and smart enough film but after an hour I found myself wondering when it'd be over, which is never a good sign. Regardless, it has enough pleasures to warrant a viewing. It's a metaphor of storytelling, which seems to be a recurring theme with Ozon, at least if I understood anything in Swimming Pool correctly.
The character of the teacher is a complete wanker, but I think that's completely intentional.

Definitely intentional, but we're also expected us to identify with his curiosity/feel for his third act losses.
Anyway, this is such an Ozon film. Here's what I scribbled about it: http://www.slantmagazine.com/film/review/in-the-house

I really liked Under the Sand and Swimming Pool but this dude has kind of dropped off my radar.
