All their top animators have been let go, and they're going to be firing or transitioning their animation staff.

Here's a Business Insider article about how they're doing this in the company across the board. Basically, they're going to rely more on Pixar, Marvel and LucasFilm to make movies and they're going to mostly be a distribution studio:
