So I'm listening to Matt Talbott's follow-up project to Hum, Centaur, and am loving the (downtuned?) tone that he secures in "The Same Place."

I can think of Ride's "Dreams Burn Down," as well as lots of My Bloody Valentine and Boris. What are some of your faves that experiment with these kinds of tone?

Deftones album Diamond Eyes he used a seven string and detuned the shit out of it. I think he went all the way down to A.
