I've always found Angelina Jolie's voice sexy.

As far as singers go, Norah Jones is terribly sexy. Also, Nicole Kidman.

And, uh, I'm pretty much straight... But Orson Welles's voice is tres, tres sexy.

Anna Karina.

I'll also second Sycophant's nomination of Orson Welles.

If we're going with singing voices, my nomination goes to Beth Gibbons of Portishead

I can't hear Orson Welles without expecting him to say "Actually, I am a genetically modified lab-mouse bent on taking over the world," so that's not sexy at all.

There are several things wrong with this post.

You find genetically modified lab-mice sexy?

I heard the Brain long before I ever heard Welles himself talk.

May be an obvious choice, but Scarlett Johannson. Especially the scene in Match Point where she's drunk at the bar.

Agreed. She's got that album of Tom Waits covers coming out soon and I'm looking forward to it.

It's been 'soon' for more than a year now.

I think Rachel Weisz has a great voice. As does David Bowie, and Timothy Dalton. And Lauren Bacall back in the day.

Actually, pretty much all of the Bond actors have great voices. I think that's an important part of the on-screen Bond character.

EDIT: Oh, and George Clooney. And Cary Grant.

Kelly MacDonald, especially with that Southern twang in NCFOM, which makes me live up to my namesake like crazy.
