Generic festival-bound slow-cinemaI would have agreed with you unequivocally while wavering in the take-it-or-leave-it zone for the first half (D'Angelo's W/O is forgiveable), but this snuck up on me as it continually upended my expectations in small but cumulatively affecting ways, with the last five minutes single-handedly bumping my grade up a notch. I do wish however that it didn't linger in close-up on the impossibly adorable infant to such a transparently manipulative extent, which is its only really significant flaw.
