I thought this was pretty good. The opening scene with Jack Frost was very well done, though the introduction of the other characters feels a bit clunky in comparison. Also, there's a scene where everyone is helping out the Tooth Fairy that feels very out of place and goes on for far too long.

The humor in the movie is also mostly a miss, though I did get a big kick out of a running gag concerning a painting yeti.

But otherwise, while not anything great or worth going out of your way to see, this was certainly an overall decent and enjoyable enough movie, and probably the best animated film I've seen thus far in an admittedly weak year for animated films.

Also, Sandman totally steals the show.

Santa armed with a sword and the movie's good voice cast are selling points for me on this. Probably will end up being a rental, though.

I actually quite enjoyed this. It's such a visually fluid film. Apparently the director (Peter Ramsey) has been a storyboard artist on a number of high profile films. He's done Fight Club, Being John Malkovich, Minority Report, Adaptation, AI, Cast Away, MiB and many others. I look forward to his next projects.
