The Pixar Shorts Thread

It seems that with every new Pixar thread, it always digresses into a discussion of the new Pixar short. Well there was a new Pixar short attached to Finding Nemo 3D that likely none of you saw in theaters (myself included). Well, the new short Partysaurus Rex is now online, and well.... I kinda love it. I think it's much better than the earlier critical darling La Luna.

So I'm creating this thread to keep all discussion about Pixar shorts in here. You can rank them, love them, hate them (though if you hate on Partly Cloudly, I will cut you), or just click on this thread and ignore what I'm saying.

though if you hate on Partly Cloudly, I will cut youI thought I was alone in loving that short. ABC Family of all places actually enabled me to watch a bunch of shorts from PIXAR that I hadn't seen before, and some other ones I was happy to revisit.

They're pretty consisently better than the movies following them. Only exceptions being Presto and Partly Cloudy (which is just horrible).

Indeed. I don't know its reputation outside of match-cut, but if it's as revered as most of their output, that has to be considered the strongest evidence of blind idolization of the Pixar brand before the release of their recent back-to-back mediocre performers.

I don't get why people hate Partly Cloudy. I think its wonderful, and it almost made tear up a bit (which is why it was perfect to appear before Up).

My favorite short of theirs however is Geri's Game:
