Likewise! But heartened to know someone here does. If you like them you should listen to Bailter Space, it's basically the same band, although less noisy and raw. Some of the most kick ass guitar playing I've personally ever heard.

New Zealand fucking rules.

Yes – Tales from Topographic Oceans

I'm glad someone else likes this one. It gets such a bad rap and I don't know why. I think Fragile and Close to the Edge are superior, but Tales is still great.

I decided TM&A was my favorite album of the 00s while listening to it during a road trip through...the lonesome, not-very-crowded west.

What's the criteria other than the person posting them finding them to be worthy?

No criteria. If someone thinks they are great, great albums, fine, but at least a few of these listed were mega disappointments for me.

I have long been a huge Robert Wyatt fan, as all knowlegeable MCer's should also be.

Here he is in one of his 'pop'-ier moments:

d4NTnvVf7Iw

And here he is providing stellar harmony vocals on Kevin Ayers phenomenal album, Whatevershebringswesing, itself also a very close five star album (and featuring a very young Mike Oldfield on guitar) this is one of my all-time favorite songs:
