This is a very rare documentary that has only been screened twice due to its controversial portrayals of inside the Disney studios.

The film The Emperors New Groove was originally going to be a film called The Kingdom of the Sun with songs by Sting. However Disney didn't like what they were looking at and they morphed the entire film (though a few of the songs still transferred over into New Groove).

Disney changing directors over "creative differences" is not a new thing. They did it with Bolt (originally titled American Dog), Ratatouille, and most recently, Brave. This documentary is a pretty cool behind-the-scenes look at how things fall apart when "creative differences" happen.

Anyone watch this? It's really interesting. I was about halfway done when I posted the thread. It's no wonder Disney banned this film from being seen again. You don't see quite this level of documenting in the behind-the-scenes stage (especially in theater during test screenings).

I'm glad the result ended up with The Emperor's New Groove because I think it's by far the wackiest and funniest film they've made.

I just got back from my Disneyland vacation last night and I'm in a Disney obsessed mood so I'll definitely watch this.

Looks like Disney pulled the plug on it.

I managed to download it before it got pulled. I watched a bit last night and it is indeed an intriguing look inside the whole process. I'll probably watch it with my girlfriend during the weekend.
