As mentioned in my recommendation thread (http://www.match-cut.org/showthread.php?t=3655) I gave myself a 14 month homework assignment where I came up with 14 categories of films and me with other poster's assistance came up with a list of 15 films to watch for each category. I decided to add another category since I need to catch up on some 2011 films so I'm gonna do that in January and push everything a month back. I'm pretty terrible at writing reviews but I'll try to put down my thoughts at the end of each month.
And 99% of these will be first time viewings. A select few I've seen before but it's been so long and I don't remember anything about them (Dancer in the Dark, Apocalypse Now) for example.
