Weird. It looks almost exactly like 24 meets Heroes.

The trailer doesn't mention that Kiefer's character is a 9/11 widower.

Also, hey, that's Martha Jones' sister.

considering that Tim Kring only does Heroes-esque shows this makes sense.

Nothing wrong with the premise. I'll check it out to see how the execution goes.

alrighty, watched the special first episode preview and it felt very Tim Kringy. Lots of random people around the world connected instead of through mutant powers by math and phones. I'm really hoping a lot of those storylines were only for that one episode and don't come back because then it really will just turn into a whole bunch of people with their own 5 minute storylines who never actually see each other ever.

That's when Heroes were actually good. As Sepinwall said in his review, Kring is good at starting stuff, but little else.

Ideally, he should be a JJ Abrams. His insistence on showrunning leads to disasters

which is why I hope that the stories in the episode are over and they just each episode have new stories of different groupings. It leans towards Kring if that is the case.

Anyone watching this? If so, how is it? Not expecting greatness, but perhaps it's decent.
