Dream Director/Actor Matchups

With There Will Be Blood out, one of my best friends' dream matchups happened. At work, we would talk about movies for hours and hours, and when I told him that PTA was doing a movie with Daniel-Day Lewis a few years ago, his head basically exploded.

What matchups do you want to see happen? Or what casting choices would you like to see?

Vincent Gallo in a Quentin Tarantino movie
Jack Nicholson in a Coen Brothers movie
Tom Cruise in a Spike Lee joint (this was rumoured at one point)
Daniel-Day Lewis and Christian Bale in a movie together

I was listening to Herzog's commentary on Fitzcarraldo the other day, and he mentioned that Jack Nicholson wanted to work with him throughout the 70's. It would be interesting to see Herzog incorporate Nicholson's increasingly hammy style in some meaningful way.
