Found footage movie about "Super heroes". After watching the trailer you’ll see why I put it in quotes.

Definitely looks interesting.

That last scene almost looks like the trailer giving away too much. Still, it does look interesting.

Meh, the way the trailer was setup I figure they'll start the movie with it.

Yeah, I think it was a good way to tease... it's interesting, I guess. Had an Akira vibe to it.

"Where's Wallace's power, String? Where the power at, huh?"

This found-footage fad needs to go away.

So, it's like Akira - except with out the neo-futurist, post-nuclear destruction societal slant to it. Or motorbikes.

I can dig it.

The film has a halfway decent premise and I liked the trailer. Consider me intrigued.

Saw 20 mins of footage screened for Sydney press a few weeks back and it looked awesome, probably the best use of mock-found-footage I've seen. Can't wait to see the whole thing.

Chatted with a Cleveland critic (who is pretty harsh on movies like this), and he said it was great.

It is. Just saw it. Surprised at the dearth of reactions in this thread. The premise seems nerdy enough to rack up at least 50 replies or so. It's weird that it takes such a low-budget movie to finally, persuasively, paint a truly engaging picture of the dark side of being a superhero. Or perhaps not because big summer movies just wouldn't venture off into this direction. And that's ok I suppose. But for all the praise lavished upon Ruffalo's version of Hulk, he's got nothing on Andrew. But maybe this is the apples and oranges discussion again. In which case my bad. The Avengers is, after all, a gem itself. And we should feel very lucky about that.:)

Dude. Wrong thread. I recommend re-posting in the 2012 forum. I'll close this thread.
