I like everyone in the cast, early reviews have been very positive, and I enjoyed the trailer.

Surprisingly good. Had my doubts as I loathe Rogen's persona, but he's well focused here. I'm starting to think he's markedly better with a stronger co star.

Joseph Gordon Levitt is amazing. He carries the film, does all the heavy lifting, and keeps the material from sliding into movie of the week status. Which is a helluva thing, considering that this is a cancer story that hits every single story beat you'd expect it to.

Corny romance and everything, this one packs quite the punch. I lost it when The Other Side of Mt. Heart Attack by Liars kicked in.

With a different lead actor this could've been mediocre at best, but yeah: Gordon-Levitt nails it.

This movie hit me particularly hard. Very likely it's just due to the fact that I almost had cancer and will likely get cancer at some point in my life. But the near the end

I did exactly that. Exactly, except there was no one else with me. Being tied into it in that way pulled me in more then I think it would otherwise.
