The character of Wild Bill was ruined for me by Lundy from Dexter. I was kinda glad he was shot in episode 4, I got tired of watching him.

Discuss.

Probably the 3rd or 4th best episode in the series.

Probably the worst possible way to start this thread. Thanks.

Finished the first season. I love this show. One minor complaint is Cy Tolliver is terrible, and not just because he's a baddie, it's because he can't express himself without overdoing it to the millionth degree. It's awkward to watch.

So you don't like Powers Boothe or Keith Carradine? The fuck?

I have a hard time keeping a straight face watching Boothe chew scenery.

My issue with Carradine was that I'd just seen him on two seasons of Dexter and couldn't get past that character. Not sure what else he's been in though he looks familiar.

Nashville? Dollhouse?

I've seen Nashville, but it was about 8 years ago. Don't remember him but there were about 100 characters.

Carradine has been in a ton of stuff, mostly notable in the 70s and 80s.

Four episodes in. I must watch faster.

There's a scene in "Mister Wu" that was probably my favorite scene from the show so far.

Reverend Smith walks into the supply shop and confesses to Bullock and Star that his confusions and ailments are getting the better of him - he can't tell if they're his friends or demons. They calmly assure him that they are his friends, he's visibly stirred, and the two men walk the Reverend back to his tent.

I timed it to be sure, but it was a slow, three-minute conversation predicated on an emotion the show doesn't tackle too frequently (compassion), and damned if it wasn't amazing.

Wow. I know it's only four eps in, but that was one of the most shocking character deaths I've seen. Was not expecting that at all.

Semi-Annual rumor it seems.

It's much more than a rumor at this point. W. Earl Brown tweeted he'd read the script. Shooting will start next year.

Just started this and 3 episodes in. Loving the community-building vibe so far, and wow Ian McShane is playing a seriously evil character so far. A great performance though.

The Movie airs tonight. 14 years in the making. Still hard to believe!
