I'll probably rewatch Eastern Promises, but that's about it. Pretty bad week for the days after X-Mas.

Yeh Eastern Promises is all I really care about there.

I think these actually come out on Boxing Day seeing as most stores won't be open on Tues.

Buying
Eastern Promises
The Kingdom (maybe)

Renting
Nothing really from the list there (possibly The Brothers Solomon and The Heartbreak Kid), but I didn't get around to renting things like Once, Stardust, Hatchet, Rush Hour 3, and Rob Zombie's Halloween last week, so I'll go with those first.

Yeah I'm pretty much in agreement, Eastern Promises looks to be the only rental from this week.

I'm most interested in Lost and Found: The Harry Langdon Collection. I'll see Eastern Promises eventually. I'm also going to rent The Brothers Solomon against my better judgment. Will Arnet and Will Forte are enough to give it a go.

Yeah, both of those look pretty interesting. I'll watch just about anything recommended by both Guy Maddin and John Waters.

I'm most interested in Lost and Found: The Harry Langdon Collection.

I'll check this out too. News of this release nearly killed my friend. He's been writing his thesis on the Langdon/Kapra connection and bypassed a lot of these films since they were completely unavailable. He now has a fun few months in front of him. :)

Whatever happened to the Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair release? I thought it was coming in Nov. or Dec.

I'm sure they needed to shit it out on DVD before the next half-baked Ben Stiller "comedy" is dumped in theaters next year. This guy's making Tim Allen look like the hardest working man in Hollywood.

Last I heard that was bumped until next year sometime. You can always buy the Japanese version.

You can barely tell The Heartbreak Kid is even a Ben Stiller (let alone a Farrelly Borhters movie) from that cover. They must really think that images of Michelle Monaghan and Malin Akerman that barely look like them are going to sell it this time around (seeing as it bombed in theatres).

And I'm glad this is our cover of Eastern Promises in Canada:

From what I've read, the two aren't identical. Plus I'm interested in the bonus materials.
