Heh, I have the same problem. In fact, I was going to go through the whole series again to be fair with my ratings, but I stopped at Thunderball when I realized it would probably just be a waste of time.

From what I've seen, he's one of the best James Bond directors and he made the best one of the bunch. Looking over the rest of his filmography though only Wait Until Dark looks like its worth viewing.

Even though I only gave Thunderball a 5 - that long underwater battle segment was pretty amazing when you think about how it was shot - it just went on for too long.

Apparently he did a Korean war movie with Ben Gazzara, Toshiro Mifune, Laurence Olivier, and the guy who played Shaft. I haven't seen it, but it sounds awesome.

I'm actually surprised mine are the lowest ratings; I didn't think MC would be a very Bond-friendly place.

I'm afraid I can't say anything constructive about FRWL; all I remember is that it was very dull and full of misogyny- which, as noted, I could say about all the 007 movies.

Eh, criticizing a Bond movie for being misogynist is like criticizing slashers for being too violent or having an anti-teen sentiment.

From Russia With Love is one of the best films of the 1960s. It's a cultural tour de force.
