Get rid of the girl and that's a damn good teaser. Adding a baby and a dog couldn't have been a better decision. I feel like this is littered with viral marketing "hints" though, like the word "HUNTER" being displayed throughout and the baby in the reflection but not in the crib at the end.

No, you're right, the lady at the end of the teaser isn't scary and it's supposed to be. Probably won't see this, but might out of morbid curiosity and interest in supernatural horror.

While I liked the first movie, its obvious this sequel exists only to make money. The teaser was decent, but I'm not sure if I have any interest in seeing it in theaters-I viewed the first one on DVD.

I like Blair Witch 2 much better than the first. It has a very interesting premise - dealing with the IRL hype of the first movie - and I think it's pretty well executed. I also find it creepier than the first, and generally I think it is a more entertaining and watchable film.

I think PA2 looks OK. I'll probably end up seeing it at some point in my life.

Pretty good. Quite scary, utilizing silence and the long-shot security cams well. And has more emotional resonance for me as it involves a whole family. Love the added touch of the housekeeper. For what it is, it's quite enjoyable.

It's the first film without the creativity or mystery. It's a bad imitation of itself; things open and close and eventually the paranormal activity gets angry. The first film works because of how it works effectively as a thriller and has a level of mystery and humor involved with the terror. The sequel lacks all of that, and other than the furthered backstory of Micah and Katie, it's completely worthless, and even that kind of cheapens the mystery of the first film.

Bad.

Definitely a step down, but not terrible. It's generally well-acted and has some creepy scenes. The way it connects to the first film is fairly clever. However, the Latina housekeeper character is ridiculous and the best effects are lifted from the original.

Do get in on the conversation from '10, Blair Witch 2 is an absolute pile. I forced myself through it to see if it had any redeeming value.
