Eh, we're counting The Kid Brother? I guess it's true, Ted Wilde isn't ever getting a consensus, but still seems odd.

Eh, we're counting The Kid Brother?I was a bit hesitant to. Despite the other names on IMDB, I'm almost certain that Harold Lloyd is the real director of the film.
Edit: from Ted's IMDB bio (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0928514/bio):
Lloyd largely directed his own movies but graciously shared (or gave) directorial credit to others throughout his career, and Wilde frequently received screen credit, despite his nominal directorial input.

I don't think uncredited directors should count. Go by the name that's actually on the film.
Exception: Dogme films in which no director is credited, but we know who did it.

In that case, I can't wait until we do Alan Smithee!

Oh, we totally should. Don't know if I've seen any.

I thought Lynch only took his name off of the extended version (which I have not seen).

I thought Lynch only took his name off of the extended version (which I have not seen).
There's five versions of it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dune_%281984_film%29#Versions) and Lynch only approved the theatrical; I don't know which one most people have seen, but the one I saw definitely had an Alan Smithee credit.
