I did a search for threads on this and it came up with nothing, but I've honestly found the search function less than helpful in the past so if someone else has made a thread already, you have my apologies in advance.

I saw some photos when this was first going into production and I was intrigued to say the least. Casey Affleck is quickly becoming one of my favorite young talents.

This looks quite good.

I pretty much gave up on Winterbottom after Tristram Shandy, and the reviews for this coming out of Sundance and Berlin don't make me eager to give him another shot. Also, I'm less than excited at the prospect of yet another serial killer movie. (Auteurs' Notebook roundup (http://mubi.com/notebook/posts/1439?from_theauteurs=1).)

Um, it should be working just fine. Feel free to let me know when you have issues. The only thing I can't get working is when you click on the link to view your specific posts within a thread.

I've been reading this book. Got about 50 pages to go, not been enjoying it that much. Don't think it's aged very well.

Odd casting aside from Ned Beatty.

Judging from the preview I saw on IMDB.com, this looks fantastic. And I second meg about Casey Affleck, who's easily the better acting half of the Affleck brothers, and a fine actor in his own right.

Not sure what to make of this one quite yet. I liked parts of it, but I also had to flip on the subtitles because I just couldn't understand most of what was being said.

There's no set up of characters, especially the union boss. I thought perhaps he was some internal affairs guy or a reporter for awhile. I was also a little hazy on the double cross Lou was put in to between Joyce and Conway.

There was also a pretty predictable trajectory to the story once the drifter showed up (conveniently seeing everything even though we never saw him). The very ending was confusing. Did everyone not smell the gasoline? Why was he released only to have the cops close in on him again? Was all that in his head?
