Ron Perlman, Cage and a Marilyn Manson song in the trailer? I'm there.

I thought the same thing.
Edit: it's weird seeing you up this early 8.

Oh...I thought for sure it was. Color me embarrassed.
Is that Nicolas Cage's "lost in thought" face? Or his "wtf is that?" face.
Looks like a combination of both.

Probably Romero's best film next to Night.
I wish this was a Zombie remake of HIII. HIII is my favorite of the original Halloween films. Man that would've been cool if Carpenter was able to turn the Halloween films into a yearly anthology/series of Halloween-themed horror films, like he had originally wanted. But instead the powers that be wanted Meyers....
Trick or treat it's Halloween, Halloween, Halloween....

Halloween III is an enjoyable, if really silly, movie. Its one of the best in the series, which really isn't saying much considering how terrible 5 and 6 are.
I imagine that the Cage movie got pushed back because its terrible.

I didn't realize this was shot in the fall of 2008. Why was this being delayed so long? It's that bad?

It's bad. Feels like they shot this in a week.
I watched it cuz it was streaming on Netflix and I was sick this morning. I don't really have many other thoughts.

I'm assuming that Cage did this movie because he needs money. Why do you whore yourself out, Mr. Cage? Think of the children! The children...

He has massive debt.

He has massive debt.Still this is the best he could do? I'm sure there were other movies he could have possibly made that wouldn't suck as hard as this one apparently sucks. Hey though Season of the Witch can't possibly be as bad as Wicker Man, I guess.

Hey, if he's desperate ...

There's actually some funny scenes. It's supposed to be a realistic period piece, yet Cage and Perlman have all this clever back and forth talk. I almost expected Sean Connery to pop out and say: “Welcome to the Rock!”

Unfairly maligned, though I expected shit too. It's actually damn good until the seemingly requisite dodgy-cgi-effects climax. Before that, it's pretty good acting, writing, camerawork. There's a bridge scene cribbed from Sorcerer but cribbed well. I wouldn't give it a bad review at all. I thought it was fun enough.
I mean, Stephen Graham is in it, and he always makes me smile as soon as I see him. Even Christopher Lee has a cameo role.
