Oh, man ... I watched a number of his flicks as a kid. I also watched a few on MST3K a decade or so later. I've never really been into his stuff, to be honest.
It Conquered the World -- 3/10
Teenage Cave Man -- 2/10
The Little Shop of Horrors -- 5/10
Tales of Terror -- 6/10
X: The Man with the X-Ray Eyes -- 5/10
Looking at his IMDb page, the amount of stuff he's produced is quite astonishing.

Added The Little Shop of Horrors. Gonna have to break from the tepid response here, as I found it hilarious and remarkably well-made for a movie reportedly made from start to finish in a few days.

Seriously everyone, see The Intruder. It actually bears very little resemblance to most of his other work. It's certainly got that low-budget feel/flair, but it's a very sobering, demonstrative film on racism and hatred that doesn't hold its punches.
I imagine most here would like it.

Let me help you sell this.

Sure, I'd see it if I knew how to. Netflix doesn't even offer it.

FYI, I rented The Intruder from Discus CD Exchange in Chicago on Broadway. Their rentals are 50 cents for 2 nights.

The Masque of the Red Death--6
I thought it was pretty lame in a non-fun campy way, but the final scene(s) of the masque itself were somewhat interesting--the music was--for the first time in the film--well-suited to the scene and the mis-en-scene was appealing.

Little Shop of Horrors - 4.5
Masque of the Red Death -- 5
Yeah, Masque felt more silly than gothic. Neither the sets nor the music ever really conveyed the darkness of Poe's language, and thus the horrific moments (the ape sequence and the finale) felt out of place amidst the story. Moreover, there's excessive dependence on random shots of crowds laughing throughout in disinterest of the horror around them, which is such a hindrance to this kind of story. It mutes the horror. Meh.
