This corresponds to the Hitchcock thread presently located here (http://match-cut.org/showthread.php?t=2248). These will be done periodically, basically when I have available time to devote to them, and will have updated results whenever someone posts a new entry to the thread. Thus, incentive to watch a director's films even after the consensus officially ends.

The revisited director list will follow in an order based on something like this... feel free to leave suggestions for those names that I've neglected to remember from the old site.

Alfred Hitchcock (http://match-cut.org/showthread.php?t=2248)
Akira Kurosawa
Woody Allen
Steven Spielberg (http://match-cut.org/showthread.php?t=2378)

Fritz Lang
John Ford
David Lynch
Werner Herzog
Ingmar Bergman

I wasn't a part of the old site, so it'll be cool to check out the consensus'(?) for the directors I missed.

Could one of us take the liberty of starting one of these threads and calculating the results ourselves?

Could one of us take the liberty of starting one of these threads and calculating the results ourselves?I believe the point is to incorporate these directors as Directors of the Month, such as Herzog this month. I am answering on behalf of Ezee and dreamdead, so I could be wrong, and they might not care as long as it isn't a director already scheduled.

If that's the case, then never mind. I just remember Wats doing a Coen bros. revisit, so I figured it was kinda up for whomever wanted to do the tallying.

Yeah. End of the month I'll get to it.

I'll do Stuart Gordon sometime today.

Hm? I was just asking if one of us could do a revisit consensus, or if there was supposed to be a time frame set on them and only certain people were doing them, or... ?
